In this paper, an analytic technique is proposed is to investigate and analyse initial voltage distributions with different types of high voltage shunt reactor’s winding when affected by a lightning impulse/voltage impulse. In order to make the uniformly distribution in the winding, it is necessary to change the winding type by increasing series capacitance values.

This increase in the meridional surface temperature gradient is persistent regardless of how the gradient is defined, thus accounting for an increase in vertical wind shear and justifying why the overall number of TCs decreases during the recent period. Along with stronger vertical wind shear, it is also found that the intensity of summer monsoon in the VES decreases between the two periods.

The main objective of this paper is to investigate the responses of the inclined cable due to rain-wind induced vibration (RWIV) considering the bending stiffness and support excitation of the cable. The single-degree-offreedom (SDOF) model is employed to determine the aerodynamic forces. The 3D model of a cable subjected to RWIV is developed using the linear theory of the cable oscillation and the central difference algorithm in which the influences of wind speed change according to the height above the ground, bending stiffness, and support excitation of the cable are considered.

Ba Lat estuary is the large mouth of the Red river; every year, the Ba Lat estuary receives million cubic meters of water before the water is dissolved in the sea. Therefore, polluted materials in the water from the continent are also transported to the sea through the estuary. However, the volume of the water pouring into the sea varies with the season. The reference evapotranspiration (ET0) of Morena station was estimated using multiple linear regression (MLR), The climatological data such as maximum temperatures, minimum temperature, mean relative humidity, wind speed and solar radiation were collected for the morena station and district of Madhya Pradesh state of India for the period of thirty years and the missing value of that data series was also determine using SPSS-21 software. The observed reference evapotranspiration (ET0) values were estimated using the Penman monteith (FAO56-PM) equation.

Studies were carried out to determine the species diversity of fruit flies and pheromone lure longivity was evaluated in guava orchard cv. Allahabad safeda at Fruit Research Station Sangareddy. Randomized block design was followed for the experiment with 8 treatments and 3 replications. Initially all the traps were loaded with pheromone lure, later the lure was changed from the traps at 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60 days interval.
