A steady-state power generation method and stacked lstm in event detection for household appliances

The paper presents a new event detection method in a low sampling rate. This proposed method includes three main parts: Generating the steady-state power signal based on the CUSUM (Cumulative SUM) signal extracted from the active power signal; Generating mean and variance signals based on the generated steady-state power signal; Applying Stacked LSTM (Stacked Long Short-Term Memory) model to improve event detection performance on the extracted features.
