The article aims to develop criteria to evaluate the instructional leadership role of the principals of secondary schools in response to educational innovation. The criteria developed include: Determining the vision for teaching activities; Developing programs and directing teaching activities; Creating conditions to promote teaching activities; Motivation for teaching activities; Encourage the application of ICT in teaching.
