Engineering students’ self-efficacy in higher education: A review of the literature

The review aims at evaluating the existing literature, showing the gaps and current trends, and suggesting directions for future work. The following questions guided the current review: 1. What are the most popular research topics in the existing engineering students’ self-efficacy studies? 2. What pattern does the distribution of studies have across countries, methods, and study samples?.
