Estimation of the water regime under different climate scenarios and the importance of the thoroughness of the soil as input layer in a small watershed in Central-Hungary

The indicators of climate change in Central Europe, Hungary is showing a trend of decrease in rainfall, increase in temperature and especially extreme weather that is becoming more usual and unpredictable. The current study presents the application of the MIKE SHE model to examine the role of unsaturated soil settings and the effects of climate change on various hydrological parameters and water balance components.
