UNCITRAL  United Nations Conference For International Trade Law Electronic commerce is the exchange of commercial information  through electronic means UNCITRAL Model Law on Electronic Commerce, 1996 “Information”: everything which is tranfered by electronic  technology, including but not only including: + email, document files, data, excel files... + design, graphics, ads,  + inquiries, orders, invoices, price lists, contracts + animated figures, movie, sound files...
