The issue of identity and identity negotiation has recently attracted much interest from researchers worldwide as the world is becoming a global village. The past few decades have witnessed a rapid growth in the number of students pursuing further education abroad as well as the number of colleges and universities from all parts of the world offering overseas study programs.
