Lace Alpaca Shawl Notes: Cast on 3 sts 1. On Purl rows make sure to P into only one loop of the double Beginning rows yarn overs, dropping the other loop oﬀ the needle. Row 5 – K1, inc, K2 (5 sts) Row 6 – K across Intermediate rows: for ﬁrst half of shawl Row 7 – K2, inc, K2 (6 sts) Row 1: K across to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (right side) Row 8 – K across Row 2: K3, P to last 3 sts, K3 (wrong side) Row 9 – K3, inc, K2 (7 sts) Row 10 – K3, P1, K3 First Flower rows: for ﬁrst half of shawl Row 11 – K to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (8 sts) Row 1 - K5, *K2 tog, yo twice, K13** (see note 2 above), repeat Row 12 – K3, P to last 3 sts, K3 from * to ** across to last 3 sts, inc, K2 Row 13 – K to last 3 sts, inc, K2 (9 sts) Row 2 – K3, P across (work only 1 loop of the double yarn overs, Row 14 – K3, P to last 3 sts, K3 let the other loop drop off the needle unworked.
