Moment modification factors for the buckling design of steel beams – new recommendations

The present study is going to fill in the gap by performing a review on the typical standard equations for the moment modification factors of simply supported beams and fixed beams subjected to an arbitrary point load. Also, a detail comparison between the equations will be discussed and key warnings will be made.
