Pantoprazol (PTZ) là một chất thuộc nhóm benzimidazol. Cũng giống như các chất khác cùng nhóm, PTZ không bền, dễ bị phân hủy trong môi trường acid nên đã có nhiều biện pháp được áp dụng để làm tăng độ ổn định của chúng như: sử dụng tá dược kiềm hoặc hỗn hợp tá dược kiềm, sử dụng các chất chống oxy hóa, bào chế dạng viên bao tan trong ruột hoặc dạng thuốc tiêm đông khô... Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu này là đánh giá ảnh hưởng của hydroxypopyl-β-cyclodextrin đến độ ổn định của thuốc tiêm đông khô PTZ.
