Optimization of phytoestrogens extraction from soy germ using response surface methodology

Phytoestrogens are phytochemicals with antioxidant activities and potential health benefits. Their contents in soy germ is the highest compared to that in parts of soy seed. Response surface methodology (RSM) using Box Behnken Design of four factors was employed to optimize the extraction conditions for phytoestrogens.
