Preparation procedure of sustained release bioadhesive tablets of acyclovir 200 mg: From the laboratory to scale up of 5,000 tablets/batch

To develop preparation procedure as well as to validate the process of sustained release bioadhesive tablets of acyclovir (ACV) 200 mg in the scale of 5,000 tablets/batch. Materials and methods: The sustained release bioadhesive tablets of ACV 200 mg were prepared by direct compression method with the scale of 5,000 tablets/batch.
