Spatial distribution and mapping of DTPA extractable micronutrients in sugarcane growing tracts of prudential sugar factory zone in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh, India

Two hundred and seventy (270) geo-referenced (GPS based) composite surface soil samples (0-15cm) were collected from 8 mandals of Prudential sugar factory zone, of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. Soil samples were analyzed for exchangeable Ca, Mg and DTPA extractable micronutrients (Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn). The results revealed that exchangeable calcium and magnesium were ranged from 1 to 6.8 cmol (p+) kg-1 and 0.3 to 6.8 cmol (p+) kg-1 soil with a mean values of 3.43 cmol (p+) kg-1 soil and 3.44 cmol (p+) kg-1 soil respectively.
