The lectin from Sao bean seeds was purified by two steps of chromatography: Sephadex G-75 gel filtration and DEAE Trysacry ion exchange chromatography. The research results showed that the purity of lectin was 17.5 times higher than that of the first extract. The molecular weight of lectin from Sao bean seeds was determined about 75 kDa.
