Toxicity of the cyanobacteria Ocillatoria limosa isolated from Tri An reservoir

A filamentous cyanobacterium Oscillatoria limosa was isolated from the Tri An Reservoir, and cultured in laboratory under controlled conditions. Microscopic observation was used for morphological identification. Microcystins (MCs) concentration was determined using Highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
