Wood pellet as the alternative thermal energy for power plant - An approach to green economy in Vietnam

This article presents an economic and environmental assessment model of using wood pellets instead of coal for thermal power plants in Vietnam, along with recommendations for converting coal-fired power plants in Vietnam to biomass thermal power plants. The results indicate the utilization of wood pellets has the potential to decrease the release of CO2 from thermal power plants in Vietnam.
