The result indicates that in the case of electron-acoustic phonon scattering, the Shubnikov-de Hass oscillation appears. Whereas, in the case of electrons-optical phonons scattering, the peak of magneto-photonphonon resonance appears. In both cases, when temperature increases, the Nernst coefficient decreases rapidly, and for electrons-optical phonons scattering, the resonance peak has a movement.

Theoretical results for the AME field is numerically evaluated, plotted and discussed for the specific CQWIP AlGaAs/GaAs. The result shows that the dependence of the AME field on the temperature of the system is nonlinear. These results are compared with those of normal bulk semiconductors and quantum well to show the difference.

In this paper, I have been established the kinetic equation for phonons in semiconductor block under intense laser field. Using this equation, we find expression for the rate coefficient for the case degenerate electron gas. The condition of the acoustic phonon increasing in semiconductor blocks is discussed.

The acoustomagnetoelectric (AME) field in a quantum well with an infinity potential (QWIP) has been studied in the presence of an external magnetic field. The analytic expression for the AME field in the QWIP was obtained by using the quantum kinetic equation for the distribution function of electrons interacting with the acoustic wave.

Two-colour three-pulse nonlinear spectroscopy can be used to study the dynamics of excited carriers in Si quantum dot structures embedded in SiN. Decays of the transverse optical phonon population and the transverse acoustic phonon population are measured and discussed. A theoretical simulation is also performed to support interpretation of our experimental observations.

By using a quantum kinetic equation for electrons, we have studied the Acousto-electric effects in doped semiconductor superlattice (DSSL) under the influence of confined phonon. Considering the case of the electron - acoustic phonon interaction, we have found the expressions of the nonlinear quantum acousto-electric current.

The analytic results have shown that EC depends on temperature, magnetic field, characteristic quantities of EMW and m - quantum number which is specific the confined phonons in a complicated way. The numerical results for GaAs/GaAsAl quantum wells (QW) have displayed these dependence explicitly. In particular, when m is set to zero, we achieve results for magneto – thermoelectric effect in the same QW without the confinement of acoustic phonons.

The Hall effect is studied theoretically in a doped semiconductor superlattice (DSSL) subjected to a crossed dc electric field and magnetic field in the presence of an intense electromagnetic wave (EMW). By using the quantum kinetic equation for electrons interacting with acoustic phonons at low temperature, we obtain expressions for the magnetoresistance as well as the Hall coefficient in dependence on the external fields and characteristic parameters of the DSSL. Analytical results are numerically evaluated for the GaAs:Si/GaAs:Be DSSL.

The calculations are based on the linearized Boltzmann equation (BE) and the relaxation time approximation, assuming the scattering by acoustic phonons to be quasi-elastic. We consider three physically distinct temperature ranges with respect to phonon scattering: the Bloch-Gruneisen ¨ (BG), equipartition (EP), and inelastic regimes.

A theory is given of the mobility of a two-dimensional electron gas at high temperature in single-side square quantum wells. Within the variational approach, we obtain analytic expressions for the carrier distribution, and autocorrelation functions for various scattering mechanisms. We examine the dependence of the mobilities of carriers on the temperature. Our theory is able to well reproduce the recent experimental data on transport in 1S-doped square QWs, e.g., acoustic-phonon partial mobility dependence on temperature for single-side modulation doped square quantum wells.

The analytic expression of parametric transformation coefficient of acoustic and optical phonons in doped superlattices is obtained, that depends non-linear on the concentration of impurities.
