In this paper, we proposed the path planning method considering driving styles of drivers for overtaking a moving vulnerable road user on urban road where there is no clear risk of collision. The optimal paths which were generated based on widely studied artificial potential field method are expected to be human-like and generally accepted by drivers.

The SVM model delivered optimum performance with the radial basis kernel, C=10, and gamma=0.0001. In the proposed method, same priority was given to processing time (testing time) and accuracy, as traffic sign identification is time critical. The final accuracy obtained was 87% (with confidence interval 84%-90%) with a processing time of 0.64s (with confidence interval of 0.57s-0.67s) for correct detection at testing, which emphasizes the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this article, the issue of improving the quality of passenger service of urban passenger transport in large cities and megacities on the routes, operating on the Bus Rapid Transit technology, is considered. Quality improvement is achieved by automatic regulation of the movement of each passenger vehicle during the movement on the route after disturbing influences in order to ensure the movement of each vehicle on schedule. The automotive industry is currently developing sensor-based solutions to increase vehicle safety in speed zones where driver error is most common: at lower speeds, when the driver is stuck in traffic, and at higher speeds, when the driver is cruising on a long stretch of highway (see Figure 3). These systems, known as Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS), use a combination of advanced sensors, such as stereo cameras and long- and short-range RADAR, combined with actuators, control units, and integrating software, to enable cars to monitor and respond to their surroundings.

An urban transport system must rather be judged on outputs --- on results. The best urban transport system is the one that serves its people best, the one that requires its people to spend the least time traveling around the area. In that regard, no megacity can compete with Los Angeles. Los Angeles is blessed with a well coordinated and effective transportation system, at least if the criteria is performance. Its principal elements are the famous freeways, but just as importantly, the wide arterial streets that provide a network throughout the area.

Interactions between two or more categories occur. For example, a car radio can be used as entertainment, but may  also provide the driver with traffic information. The interactions between categories should be an important  consideration during the further design and research on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The interface in  particular should provide the user with means to safely use all three categories.  This research will primarily focus on the safety systems. In­car active safety systems are generally called Advanced  Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS.
