The epidemic outbreak of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) was continuing specially from 2014 onwards and taking toll of pediatric age group distributed in different blocks of Gaya district of Bihar, India. In an extensive survey during outbreak (2016), a case of high fever history was diagnosed having Chandipura virus out of 24 acute fever cases admitted at Anugrah Narayan Memorial Magadh Medical College and Hospital (ANMMMCH) Gaya. Off which nine cases were from Gaya district. The age group of affected cases was 1-15 years. Male were affected more than females (M:F::55.5:44.4).

Myxofibrosarcoma (MFS) is most often found on the limbs of aged male people, but extremely uncommon in the liver. A 52-year-old female patient with a liver mass was diagnosed as a primary MFS. It had no obvious abdominal symptoms, and the tumor was resected with an extended margin.

Pulmonary system is the most commonly involved system in people living with HIV as lungs are continuously exposed to the infection as they are rich in macrophages, dendritic cells, lymphocytes etc. In PLHIV immunity is suppressed, hence lungs are prone for infection and non infectious pulmonary diseases. According to autopsy findings, in HIV lung was affected almost upto 100% in the period of epidemic to 70% in the HAART era. Pneumonia is most common pulmonary manifestation followed by pulmonary tuberculosis and PCP.

A total 116 dogs were presented with various affections of the ear, among them 67 (57.76%) cases were having the symptoms of otitis. The higher incidence was found in the age groups of 1-5 year (44.77%, n=30) followed other age groups. The breed wise incidence of was found to be highest in the Labrador (35.82%, n=24) followed by other breeds. 35 cases had bilateral (52.23%), 21 dogs had only right side ear (31.34%) involvement and 11 dogs had left side ear (16.41%) infection. Out of total 67 cases 58.20 percent (n=39) cases were male and 41.80% percent (n=28) cases were female.

Vitamin B12 is one of the essential vitamins affecting various systems of the body. Reports of psychiatric disorders due to its deficiency mostly focus on middle aged and elderly patients. Here we report a case of vitamin B 12 deficiency in a 16-year old, male adolescent who presented with mixed mood disorder symptoms with psychotic features.

The hormones are related to body composition may play an important role male and female in infected HIV patients. We were using both male and female (Beck Depression Inventory Questionnaire). In the current study, we assessed the Endocrine system, the Hypothalamus and Pituitary it can be challenging to problems in people with HIV because certain symptoms may be associated with altered levels of more than one hormone. Such subtle imbalances may have a major impact on quality of life, and there are so many people many benefit from testing of hormone levels and supplementation with HIV patients.

During the three years (2015-2017), 68 patients having CBD stones concomitant gallstones suitable criteria for inclusion at Hue Central Hospital. Retrospective clinical description study. Results: the average age is 52.2±12.5 years (24-90) and the male/ female ratio is 0.7/1 (27/41). Abdominal pain was the most common symptom 91.2%, which was followed by jaundice 51.5%; direct bilirubin increased by 27.3±15.6 μmol/l (2.2-165). The size of CBD stones is 12.4±3.2 mm (6-20), the size of gallstones is 11.3±6.2 mm (5-36). The first time CBD stones 95.6%, recurrent CBD stones 4.4%.

New cases of active pulmonary tuberculosis admitted to our critical care unit from January 1999 to January 2006 were identified. Data were collected retrospectively from medical records including demographics, clinical presentation, number of sputum samples, therapy provided and patient outcome. Setting: Data were collected from the ICU database and microbiology laboratory records. Patients and participants: Thirty-three patients were diagnosed with active pulmonary tuberculosis. Age was 63±17, and 60.7% were males.

Central Serous Chorioretinopathy This primarily affects males between the ages of 20 and 50. Leakage of serous fluid from the choroid causes small, localized detachment of the retinal pigment epithelium and the neurosensory retina. These detachments produce acute or chronic symptoms of metamorphopsia and blurred vision when the macula is involved. They are difficult to visualize with a direct ophthalmoscope because the detached retina is transparent and only slightly elevated.
