Part 2 book "Human anatomy" includes content: Introduction and osteology, anterior abdominal wall, male external genital organs, abdominal cavity and peritoneum, abdominal part of oesophagus and stomach, small and large intestines, large blood vessels of the gut, extrahepatic biliary apparatus, kidney and ureter, uprarenal gland and chromaffin system, posterior abdominal wall.

Some glycosidic enzymes secreted by the gut of Eudrilus eugeniae and the abundance of bacteria producing similar enzymes in the gut were studied in order to know the extent of enzymatic contribution by the worm gut and the ingested bacteria. 120 different bacteria were isolated from the worm gut and their enzymatic activities were detected by using respective media and reagents. In vitro gut wall tissue culture of various gut portions was done to assess enzymatic activities in gut wall and in the culture medium.

The use of medaka fish as a candidate animal model has been started which has similarities with the Zebra fish that was developed as an animal model. Sulawesi medaka fish (Oryzias celebensis) is a type of medaka fish that are endemic in the region of South Sulawesi. This research aims to observe the histology of anterior gut of Sulawesi medaka fish. Histological study on the anterior gut of Sulawesi medaka fish using buccal cavity and oesophagus organs. Histological observation showed that the mouth and buccal cavity are shared by the respiratory and digestive systems.
