In this paper, we present modeling and design of a bandpass filter for the use in Remote Radio Unit (RRU) transceivers (TRX) of Long Term Evolution Advantage (LTE-A) base stations. Generalized Chebyshev response is employed to synthesize the filter.

The article presents a design for a bandpass filter using TE dual-mode resonator. The design is based on the general scatting matrix of each discontinuity in the structure. Different propagation modes in the same waveguide section are used to represent the matrices to facilitate the design.

Universal voltage mode biquadratic filter synthesis using nodal admittance matrix expansion. This paper presents a systematic synthesis procedure for generating universal voltage- mode biquadratic filters based on the nodal admittance matrix expansion. The obtained eight equivalent circuits can realize all five standard filter functions namely lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass employing only two active elements.
