Chapter 4 introduces the concept of limit state design of structural members; the most fundamental knowledge of limit state is provided together with its application on the design of axially-loaded members and flexural members.

This paper presents the experimental results of structural responses of box beams using TRC. Ten specimens in two groups are designed with different longitudinal and transverse textile reinforcement ratios. All the specimens are loaded under a four-point bending test, in order to investigate both flexural and shear behaviour of TRC box beams.
