In this article, we introduced Bayesian Group Chain Sampling Plan (BGChSP) using different combination of parameters. In acceptance sampling plan, the random fluctuations can be describe in the selection of distribution Bayesian approach which is based on prior process history. We apply beta distribution as a suitable prior distribution. By considering consumer’s and producer’s risks, we consider Probabilistic and Indifference Quality Regions for the specified AQL and LQL. For the selection of parameters in BGChSP, Maximum Allowable Percent Defectives (MAPD) is also considered.

Beta Dose Rate heterogeneity is a recognized source of uncertainty when applying luminescence dating to heterogeneous samples, such as coarse crystalline rocks and clast-rich sediments. Simulations have shown that a combination of a heterogeneous distribution of minerals and radioactive elements can lead to complex dose distributions, overdispersion and potentially to bias in equivalent dose determinations.

Positron emission tomography (PET) is increasingly being used as an imaging modality for clinical and research applications in veterinary medicine. Amyloid PET has become a useful tool for diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease (AD) in humans, by accurately identifying amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaques.

The majority of participants displaying incongruent decisions of achievement attribution via LS and CJ showed equivalent LS scores between effort and ability attributions. A goodness-of-fit test was conducted (on a model motivated by the beta-binomial distribution) and successfully eliminated the possibility that the tied LS scores in effort and ability attributions actually represent participants’ true psychological state.

In previous studies, the prior probability has been considered as a fixed value only, hence, the Bayes error is usually a fixed value. This sometimes leads to unreasonable results. To fill the mentioned research gap, this paper considers the prior probability q in Bayesian classifier as a distribution, and looks insight the posterior distribution of Bayes error, using Monte-Carlo simulation. Finally, the proposed method is applied to credit scoring data of a bank in Vietnam. Based on the results, we can determine whether the Bayesian classifier is suitable for data or not.

Glycoproteins are involved in a diverse range of biochemical and biological processes. Changes in protein glycosylation are believed to occur in many diseases, particularly during cancer initiation and progression. The identification of biomarkers for human disease states is becoming increasingly important, as early detection is key to improving survival and recovery rates.

Non-specific feature selection is a dimension reduction procedure performed prior to cluster analysis of high dimensional molecular data. Not all measured features are expected to show biological variation, so only the most varying are selected for analysis.

Many biases and spurious effects are inherent in RNA-seq technology, resulting in a non-uniform distribution of sequencing read counts for each base position in a gene. Therefore, a base-level strategy is required to model the non-uniformity.

Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) strains represent a worldwide threat because of their virulence and broad distribution in the hospital settings and community. MRSA strains are often resistant to beta lactam antibiotics and also to flouroquinolones, chloramphenicol, clindamycin, tetracycline and aminoglycosides. In addition, resistance is shown to recently develop anti-staphylococcus agents including the Oxazolidione and Streptogramin.

Among all the micro nutrient deficiencies, World Health Organization (WHO) had identified Vitamin A deficiency as the more dangerous and widespread micronutrient deficiencies in the world. In order to address this global problem, biofortification of Maize is considered to be a cost effective and sustainable approach. The present study was carried out to raise and identify high β- carotene maize lines of BC1F2 (UMI 1200 × HP 467-15)- C15-S79 population by phenotyping using HPLC along with genotyping of crtRB1 allele.

Escherichia coli and Salmonella are considerably responsible for causing gastrointestinal disorders. Emergence of Extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL) production among the above organisms is a great matter of concern. Hence, the present study is envisaged to know the distribution status of ESBL producing E. coli and Salmonella spp. from raw milk samples.

here wwe shall treat the laws of spontaneous radioactive decay inde-pendently of the emission accompanying the transformation. this can be done because it happens that the law of decay is independent of the mechanism of the transformation.

It is well known that occurrence counts of words in documents are often modeled poorly by standard distributions like the binomial or Poisson. Observed counts vary more than simple models predict, prompting the use of overdispersed models like Gamma-Poisson or Beta-binomial mixtures as robust alternatives. Another deficiency of standard models is due to the fact that most words never occur in a given document, resulting in large amounts of zero counts. We propose using zeroinflated models for dealing with this, and evaluate competing models on a Naive Bayes text classification task.

The data on profitability start with an important finding: earning profits does not imply being a “for-profit” bank. Most microfinance institutions in our sample that have total revenues exceeding total costs in fact have “non-profit” status. They are earning profits in an accounting sense, but as non-profits they cannot distribute those profits to investors.

We will assist you in managing the financial affairs of your property by providing monthly financial statements. These statements will show how your current month’s income and expenses compare to your annual budget. This information will allow you to monitor expenditures to ensure that your budget plan is followed. It will also provide you with warning signals if certain expenses are being incurred faster than anticipated and have a potential of exceeding what was budgeted.

Empirical research has found that highly profitable firms face a lower cost of equity funding (for example, Hail and Leuz (2006)). This work has not looked at banks. In the third column of Table 1, we use earnings (defined as net income over equity) to proxy for future profitability. We find that high profitability compresses the market beta. In other words, more profitable banks tend to be less correlated with the market return, facing therefore a lower risk premium.
