This research, anchored on the Value Chain Analysis (VCA) framework, delved at describing the slipper industry in the so-called footwear capital of the North in Nueva Ecija, Philippines, the “Gapan City”. It utilized a descriptive research design and involved 46 slipper manufacturers as respondents. The researchers particularly focused on the industry's business operation in terms of inputs provision, production, marketing, cost and return analysis, prospects, problems and constraints of the slipper industry.

In this paper, we describe the male advertisement calls of the Indochinese Brown Bullfrog, Kaloula indochinensis from evergreen forest in Gia Lai province, in the Central Highlands of Vietnam for the first time. This species has a slow and low-pitched call that is similar to the sounds of a trumpet to the human ear.

Parametrized surfaces of low degrees are very useful in applications, especially in Computer Aided Geometric Design and Geometric Modeling. The precise description of their geometry is not easy in general. Here we study some of the corresponding projective complex surfaces of low implicit degree (i.e. smaller than 12). We show that, generically up to linear changes of coordinates, they are classified by a few number of continuous parameters (called moduli).

In this paper, we particularly focus on developing a description method that can be taken to tackle the lack of description for multi-cloud application by designing description templates for CAM which was developed in [1][2][3], called CAM-D. A completed application description can be synthesized from individual component descriptions. Our experimentation is expressed through the transformation of CAM-D template to TOSCA specification illustrated by case study. In addition, we also develop an flattening algorithm to assist in mapping to TOSCA.

Therefore, multi view text clustering presents a useful solution for trends detection by integrating various representations called ‘views’ to provide a complementary description of the same content. In this context, we propose a new ensemble method for multi-view text clustering that exploits different representations of text in order to produce more accurate and high quality clustering. Extensive experiments on real-world text datasets were conducted to demonstrate its superiority by comparing with the existing methods.

A primiparous non-descript doe aged two and half years was presented to Referral veterinary polyclinic (Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics section) of the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar with distended abdomen and history of breeding five months back. On ventral abdominal palpation and per-vaginal examination, no any fetal structures or palpable mass was felt. All the vital parameters were within the normal range.

We study a Horn fragment called Horn-RegI of the regular description logic with inverse RegI , which extends the description logic ALC with inverse roles and regular role inclusion axioms characterized by finite automata. With exceptions, the error handling interface is much easier. The C++ throw command creates an expection that's handled by the catch block. The nice thing only the functions that does the throw and the one that catches it need to worry about the exception. All the other functions on the call stack don't have to worry about problems and don't have to pass error codes up the call stack.
