Cervical lymph node metastasis (LNM) is an important prognostic factor for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We aimed to develop and validate machine learning models that use ultrasound radiomic and descriptive semantic features to diagnose cervical LNM in patients with NSCLC.

In this study, we demonstrated that the expression of MUC1 was greater in neoplastic tissues than in non-neoplastic tissues of the cervix, and cervical squamous cell carcinoma patients with high MUC1 expression had significantly worse overall survival than did those with low MUC1 expression, indicating its potential for early diagnosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.

To assess survival of treatment patterns based on concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) in patients with stage IIB cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC). Patients with stage IIB CSCC receiving CCRT were investigated from June 2012 to June 2019 in Guangxi Medical University Cancer Hospital. Baseline characteristics and treatment patterns were described. Survival between treatment patterns were compared using Kaplan-Meier methods.

Cervical cancer is a tumor with high morbidity and mortality. The importance of inflammatory and metabolic parameters affecting progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) has been investigated more intensively recently. We aimed to investigate the effect of glucose/c-reactive protein (CRP) ratio [GCR], which shows these two parameters together, on PFS in cervical cancer.

Breast and cervical cancer are the two leading cancers in terms of incidence and mortality. Previous studies reported diferent interleukins, including interleukin-17A (IL-17A) to be responsible for the development and progression of these malignancies.

Evaluate the efficacy and safety of different chemotherapy regimens concurrent with radiotherapy in treating locally advanced cervical cancer (LACC). Methods Retrospective data was collected from LACC patients who were treated at our institution. These patients were categorized into three groups: the single-agent cisplatin (DDP) chemoradiotherapy group, the paclitaxel plus cisplatin (TP) chemoradiotherapy group, and the nanoparticle albumin-bound (nab-) paclitaxel combined with cisplatin (nPP) chemoradiotherapy group.

Despite the availability of effective vaccines, human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine uptake remains low in most resource-limited settings including Nigeria. Mobile health technology (mHealth) has the potential to empower patients to manage their health, reduce health disparities, and enhance the uptake of HPV vaccination.

The complications of radical surgery for cervical cancer can increase patient suffering and affect their quality of life. This retrospective study assessed the safety of radical hysterectomy (RH) with pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) by observing the complications of patients with cervical cancer who underwent this procedure in a single centre over 10 years.

Cervical cancer (CC) is a common gynecological malignancy worldwide. Some patients perform serious resistance after chemotherapy, and long-stranded non-coding RNA MEG3 is reported to be involved in the regulation of chemoresistance in many solid tumors. However, its involvement in cervical adenocarcinoma has not been reported.
