The stiffness is a critical factor that determines its structural integrity, and it is essential to monitor any changes in this parameter over the lifespan of the bridge.

The results showed that the growth rate of corals will return to normal after 4 months rehabilitation. In the changing climate, this disease in sunflower has been recognized as a major threat in causing more economic loss than before. A field experiment was conducted to study the response of antioxidant enzymes to oxidative damage caused by heat stress induced by changing dates of transplanting in two rice (Oryza sativa L.) genotypes viz., ‘N22’ (heat tolerant) and ‘IR8’ (heat susceptible). During grain filling period, constitutive level of antioxidative enzymes viz., superoxide dismutase, catalase, ascorbate peroxidase, was found to be 35.7, 88.8 and 84.1% higher respectively, while the content of non-enzymatic antioxidants viz., ascorbate and proline was 78.5 and 81.

Reinforced concrete structures are damaged by salt attack, concrete carbonation, and sulfate attack, etc. The expansion stress by the corrosion of reinforcing steel causes crack in the cover concrete. Patch repair method is commonly applied to deteriorated RC structures. Deterioration mechanism of a patch-repair method in reinforced concrete is investigated through the experiment and analysis. The repair material selected is polymer-modified cement mortar re-emulsified by polymer resin.
