Chromate ions

This study is focused on the synthesis of chromate anion imprinted sorbent supported on silica gel for nonchromatographic Cr speciation in surface waters. The preparation procedure is based on grafting of 3-methyl-1- trimethoxysilylpropylimidazolium, preliminarily coordinated to CrO2− 4 as a template ion, onto the surface of silica gel. Sorption and desorption characteristics of surface-imprinted sorbent toward Cr(III) and Cr(VI) were examined by batch solid-phase extraction.

Using this method, the total chromium content of water, rice and water spinach samples that were collected along the Nhue River were analyzed. The total chromium content of the water, rice and water spinach samples were analyzed. The obtained results show that the samples were not polluted by chromium.

In this paper, the optical properties of Dy3 ions in alumino telluroborate glasses have studied using Judd-Ofelt (JO) theory [11, 12] and the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram. The results have shown that alumino borotellurite glasses doped with Dy3 ions are promising for optical applications and white light emission.

Dy3+-doped glasses with various compositions (30+x)B2O3+ (60-x)TeO2 + 9Na2O + 1Dy2O3 (x = 10 and 20) were prepared by a melt–quenching technique. The specifically structural properties of boro-tellurite glasses with the high borate content (> 30 mol%) was reflected in the unusually large values of the Judd-Ofelt parameters Ω2 and Ω6 . The CIE chromaticity color coordinates were calculated from the luminescence spectra of Dy3+ ions of the glasses with the different compositions and all of them were located in the white light zone of the color coordination diagram.
