This research aims to study a process of steeping in the n-heptane, used for reducing the migration of additives contained initially in toys for babies plasticized with di-octylphtalate (DOP) based on poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) and stabilized with epoxidized sunflower oil (ESO). Two formulations were carried out at different levels of DOP plasticizers (15% and 45%). The migration tests were conducted in the synthetic saliva in the absence and in the presence of α-amylase with or without agitation at 37° C for 1, 3, and 6 h.

In the present work, essential oil and fatty acids and extracts obtained from aerial parts of Phlomis linearis Boiss. & Bal. were investigated for chemical composition and biological activities. The phytochemical analyses were conducted with gas chromatographymass spectrometry/flame ionisation detector (GC-MS/FID) and liquid chromatography-mass spectromtetry (LC-MS/MS) techniques. The extracts and essential oil were studied for α-amylase and acetylcholinesterase activities with two different spectrophotometric methods.

A refined analytical method has been developed for the determination of the isotope ratio of oxygenated compounds in essential oils, using high-resolution gas chromatographymass spectrometry (HRGC-MS), has been developed. Thirty-three samples of yuzu fruits from different production areas in Japan and South Korea were collected and prepared for cold-pressed peel oils. The oils were analysed by HRGC-MS for linalool concentration and isotope ratio based on the peak intensities of (M+2)+ , (M+1)+ and M+ ions.

The amount and type, the inorganic element content, and the maturity of organic materials of Eocene coals, shaly coals, and coaly shales exposed in the Gümüşhane and Bayburt districts of the Eastern Black Sea Region of Turkey were investigated. In this research, the analysis method of cyclic siloxanes including octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4), decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5), and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane (D6) in PCPs was developed by using a gas chromatographymass spectrometry (GC/MS) system.The method detection limits and the method quantification limits of individual cyclic siloxanes were 0.7 ng/g and 2.0 ng/g, respectively.
