The aims of this thesis are informed by the limitations of existing research identified above. The overall objective of the thesis is to develop and test a framework of accountant identities (accountant subtypes) inferred from stereotypical perceptions and to identify the attributes that underlie the subtypes. The initial construction of the framework is based on the accountant stereotypes identified in existing research. The framework is constructed from two dimensions based on role (tasks performed by accountants) and character (perceived personality traits).

Green gram cultivation is one of the major seasonal legume crop of Bihar & most of its activities are performed by women. The present study was carried out to assess the drudgery prone activities performed by farmwomen in Green Gram cultivation. The study was conducted in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar in two randomly selected villages Harshingpur Lautan and Shadikpur Muraul of Muraul Block. A sample size of 80 females were involved in green gram cultivation in Bihar were selected by probability proportionate to size method. The data were collected based on interview-cum-observation method.

The present study was undertaken to assess the information needs of the goat farmers from Chandrapur and Nagpur districts in Nagpur division of Maharashtra. Research and experience confirm the importance of gender equity, not only as a fundamental human right, but also as essential to poverty reduction and improved living standard. The study was purposively conducted with an objective to assess gender role in animal husbandry practices in hill farming situation where involvement of the women in agriculture is higher than their counterpart. The data of research were collected by means of classroom observations, questionnaires and interviews. The teachers’ use of tasks was documented through classroom observations and their difficulties in tasks implementation were explored through questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively.

The study was undertaken to analyse the economic activities of farm households in the sub-tropics of Jammu region of Jammu & Kashmir state and whether farm households depend exclusively on agriculture for their livelihood or not. The study was conducted by employing non-experimental descriptive research design. Multi stage sampling technique was applied for selecting a total sample of 370 farmers: 270 rice-wheat cultivating farmers from Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts and 100 vegetable cultivating farmers from Jammu district.

This paper focuses on social capital and its impacts to the income of rural household in Vietnam which is rarely studied in literature. In this research we contribute to literature the effects of two different factors, internal and external, of social capital on household income. The multivariate OLS regression model is used to analyse data of the Vietnam Access to Resources Household Survey 2014, with the participation of 3,648 households in rural areas of 12 provinces.

This paper investigates ways of life of skipped-generation families in rural northeastern Thailand. Qualitative methodological approach was implemented in the study. In-depth interview was used as research instrument to collect data from two groups of key informant including 1) community leaders, community seniors, and community committees, totally seven persons, and 2) skipped-generation families living in rural north-eastern region of Thailand, totally 7 families. Data analysis was done by content analysis method.

Education should be the dynamic form of philosophy of any nation. India desired to adopt a socialistic way of life. As education is the only means to bring about the desired social change, a vast amount of money has been spent on education by the state. The present study was undertaken in 8 villages of Midjil mandal in Mahbubnagar district, Telangana state. Though the school education department succeeded in increasing the enrolment ratio in Mahbubnagar which is the most backward district in the state, it still continues to witness the highest dropout rate.

Marriage is an important personal and social affair. A qualitative research was conducted to study attitude of present generation towards marriage.Sample size was 51. There was the use of triangulation of data and methods. When the study was carried out first, the qualitative data were collected by in-depth interview and analyzed manually in the interpretive-thematic analysis framework. Data saturated after 16 persons of marriageable age, those between 18 and 35, were interviewed.Some were interviewed twice or thrice.

In this research, the analysis method of cyclic siloxanes including octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4), decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5), and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane (D6) in PCPs was developed by using a gas chromatographymass spectrometry (GC/MS) system.The method detection limits and the method quantification limits of individual cyclic siloxanes were 0.7 ng/g and 2.0 ng/g, respectively.

A final selection of 40 students was made in early June 2010, and the students instructed to complete IELTS application forms by 24 June 2010 in order to sit the test on 10 July 2010. The project forms a partnership of environmental health scientists, health care providers, a community-based organization (Centro Latino of Caldwell County), and poultry workers to document the physical and psychosocial impacts of poultry employment on Latinoworkers inwestern North Carolina, and to develop ways of assisting workers individually and collectively in protecting themselves from the demands of this work.
