The present investigation aimed to examine the growth performance and instability analysis of rabi maize in Banswara district of Rajasthan was conducted during 2017-18. The study was based on time series data collected from 2007-08 to 2017-18. The results of the study revealed that among the eleven tehsils of Banswara district, Bagidora emerged as important one because the growth rates for area, production and yield of rabi maize were found significantly highest.

The paper analyzes the growth and instability in terms of area, production and productivity of wheat in Uttar Pradesh. The growth was examined by compound annual growth rate and contribution of area and productivity towards output growth by decomposition analysis. The study relates to 1990-91 to 2013-14 which is further divided into five sub-periods.

The research on the okra was the analysis of growth is usually used to find out the trend analysis of area, production and yields over a period of time. The growth in the area, production and yield of okra crop in Chhattisgarh was estimated using the compound growth rate and production function of the five year data. The area under okra has recorded mild annual increment and growth was negative significant. Most of the districts of Chhattisgarh in case of the cultivation of okra was found negative trend for area, production and yield.

The present study initiates and analyzes the growth trends in area, production and productivity of sugarcane crop, measure the variability of sugarcane crop at the district levels in Bihar. The data obtained from secondary sources for the period of 42 years beginning from 1970-71 to 2011-12 and analyze by using simple descriptive statistics, CAGR (compound annual growth rate). Out of 38 districts of Bihar six major sugarcane growing districts have been selected on the basis of percentage area and production of sugarcane.

It was found that growth performance of agro-processing industries in Karnataka was unsatisfactory when compared with its other states. It is found that 48 per cent of the household expenditure in India is on food items and the demand for processed/convenience food is constantly increasing. With relatively cheaper labour, low cost of production, base for domestic and export markets could be set up. Tobacco industry in India is one of the largest in the world with India having the largest area under tobacco cultivation. It plays an important role in the country’s economy. Compound annual growth rate and Cuddy-DelleVelle instability index were used to measure the growth and instability in export of tobacco from India. The necessary secondary data were collected for a period of 22 years from 1994-95 to 2015-16. There is a positive and significant growth rate in export of tobacco both in terms of quantity (6.20%) and value (14.25%) which was associated with a medium instability index.

This study identifies the determinants of growth of selected companies in India. It is based on a sample of 250 companies given in the PROWESS database developed by Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE). It covers a period of ten years, i.e., from 2004-05 to 2013-14. The growth of companies is measured in terms of compounded annual growth rate of net sales and market capitalization.

Thai mutual funds industry has grown drastically with compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 16.97% during 2006 to 2010. Fixed income funds play an important role determining industry growth as proportion of asset under management of fixed income funds to total asset under management was approximately 72% in 2010. Among fixed income fund product, deposit substitute product or MMF takes the largest proportion of total asset under management of fixed income funds. Equity mutual fund growth was driven by large flow of investment from LTF and RMF due to tax incentive.

From  2006  to  2010,  total  gross  compensation  at  the  Port Authority  grew  from  $629.3  million  to approximately $749.3, respectively.  Of  this amount, base salaries grew  from  $507.6  million  to  $581.1  million,  a  compounded  annual  growth  rate  of  only  2.7%.   However,  other  amounts  of  compensation,  (i.e.,  “add‐on”  compensation)  such  as  pay  associated with the vacation exchange program and certain longevity programs grew by  compounded annual growth rates of 10.6% and 5.5%, respectively.
