Intensive Care Unit (ICU) capacity management is essential to provide high-quality healthcare for critically ill patients. Yet, consensus on the most favorable ICU design is lacking, especially whether ICUs should deliver dedicated or non-dedicated care. The decision for dedicated or non-dedicated ICU design considers a trade-off in the degree of specialization for individual patient care and efficient use of resources for society.

This paper studies the consensus problem in which agents interact via a matrix-weighted graph. The problem is considered with different assumptions on the agent's dynamical model (single-, double integrator) with uncertainty and on the interaction such as leaderless and leader-follower topologies.

As the Internet becomes the number one destination for obtaining health-related information, there is an increasing need to identify health Web pages that convey an accurate and current view of medical knowledge. In response, the research community has created multicriteria instruments for reliably assessing online medical information quality.

We describe the development of a nursing home information technology (IT) maturity model designed to capture stages of IT maturity. Materials and Methods: This study had 2 phases. The purpose of phase I was to develop a preliminary nursing home IT maturity model. Phase II involved 3 rounds of questionnaires administered to a Delphi panel of expert nursing home administrators to evaluate the validity of the nursing home IT maturity model proposed in phase I.

To model children's mental health policy making dynamics and simulate the impacts of knowledge broker interventions. This is the first application of ABM to evidence-informed mental health policy making. Results suggest that the presence of knowledge brokers can: (1) influence consensus formation in MHAs, (2) accelerate policy decisions, and (3) increase the likelihood of evidence-informed policy adoption.

The use of scanning gradients can significantly reduce method-development time in reversed-phase liquid chromatography. However, there is no consensus on how they can best be used. In the present work we set out to systematically investigate various factors and to formulate guidelines.

With the advent of percutaneous coronary intervention, specifically the bare metal stent and subsequently, the drug-eluting stent, the scope of interventional cardiology has greatly increased. Aspirin, in combination with a thienopyridine is the present-day cornerstone of oral antiplatelet therapy after coronary artery stent placement

Frail patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) face a higher risk of adverse out‑ comes, but there is no clear consensus on which frailty measures are most suitable for COPD patients. Herein we evaluated the ability of frailty measurements in predicting 1-year acute exacerbation, hospitalization, and mortality in older patients with COPD.

The paper introduces an extension to a widely studied framework of opinion modelling, which adds agent mobility inspired by psychological and sociological studies. As described in Alraddadi et al. (2019), we evaluate and discuss the impact of different types of mobility on the nature of consensus that emerges. In addition, in this paper we have extended the model by incorporating noise in order to investigate robustness under uncertainty.

The cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) together with its cyclin E and A partners is a central regulator of cell growth and division. Deregulation of CDK2 activity is associated with diseases such as cancer. The analysis of substrates identified S/T-P-X-R/K/H as the CDK2 consensus sequence.
