Correlation between independent variables

The study concluded there is a positive strong relationship between performance and the independent variables as shown by the Pearson‟s co-efficient correlation which is significant as indicated by the P-value at 95% level of confidence. There are various determinants of supply chain performance that contributes to efficient and effective performance of supply chain in the organization namely ICT, knowledge and information sharing, trust, culture and joint decision making.

The present investigation was carried out during 2005-06 in four randomly selected cooperative branches of District Central Cooperative Bank (DCCB) of Raipur district. Majority of respondents were regular in repayment of their loan. Correlation analysis between independent and dependent variables also reveals that socio-economic status and extension contact shows positively and highly significant and remaining variables exhibited non-significant relationship with loan repayment performance of respondents.

This study examines the extent to which budget deficit affects economic growth in Vietnam in the 2007-2017 period. Using the panel data regression, where the dependent variable is the economic growth (GDP), independent variables include consumer price index (CPI), foreign direct investment (FDI) and budget deficit (BD), the results show that during the research time frame, budget deficit has a positive correlation with economic growth at a statistically significant level, while no significant correlation is found between CPI and FDI with the dependent variable.

Hansen’s (1999) panel threshold regression model is applied in this study to investigate the correlation between bank size and bank earnings volatility in 14 Chinese banks. These data were adopted after the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy was announced in 2009Q4. The data used in this study cover the period from 2009Q1 to 2013Q1. The dependent variable is bank earnings volatility, whereas bank size is the independent and threshold variable. Empirical results show the significance of a single threshold on bank size and return on asset (ROA) earnings volatility.

The study was conducted in Andhra Pradesh state during 2017-18. A total of 120 Bt cotton tenant farmers were selected randomly for the study. Data was collected with interview schedule. To study the nature of the relationship between the profile characteristics and knowledge level of Bt cotton tenant farmers, correlation coefficients (r) was computed and the values were presented in Table 1. The relationship between the profile and knowledge level of Bt cotton tenant farmers were tested by null hypothesis and empirical hypothesis.

These results even led to running a second regression with a change in the independent and dependent variable to gain more insights. Although there is much information about facility spending and the rising expenses in college athletics, there is not much correlational data to date. The results from this study can help give collegiate athletic departments more information and a more holistic picture of the relationships between these important variables before they start investing in a new major facility.
