  • Searching for the origin of the dark matter and the dark energy is among the problems that the modern physics, including the general theory of relativity, is facing to. Various theories or models have been proposed to solve these problems without satisfactory success yet.

  • We consider a renormalizable theory, which successfully explains the number of Standard Model (SM) fermion families and whose non-SM scalar sector includes an axion dark matter as well as a field responsible for cosmological inflation. In such theory, the axion gets its mass via radiative corrections at one-loop level mediated by virtual top quark, right handed Majorana neutrinos and SM gauge bosons.

  • Dark matter must be stabilized over the cosmological timescale, which demands the existence of a stabilizing symmetry, derived by a dark charge. The relic density and direct detection for the scenario of two-component dark matter are investigated in detail.

  • In this work (Mathews et al., 2014a) we consider that the present universe is slightly open, i.e. ⌦0 0.994 at the 95% confidence level. In this case, any curvature that existed before inflation could now be visible on the horizon. Such pre-inflation fluctuations in the inflaton field could appear as a cosmic dark (or bulk) flow cosmological flow. We summarize an analytic model (KurkiSuonio et al., 1991; Mathews et al., 2014a) for an open cosmology with an adiabatic planar inhomogeneity of wavelength less than the initial Hubble scale.

  • In this paper, therefore, we explore the possibility that the universe is slightly open with Ω0 ≈ 0.994. In this case a glimpse of preinflation fluctuations could just now be entering the horizon before the universe becomes totally dark-energy dominated and flat. Our goal, therefore, is to determine what constraints might be placed on inhomogeneities and curvature content in the preinflation universe based upon current cosmological observations.

  • We discuss a cosmology in which cold dark-matter begins to decay into relativistic particles at a recent epoch (z < 1). We show that the large entropy production and associated bulk viscosity from such decays leads to a recently accelerating cosmology consistent with observations. We investigate the effects of decaying cold dark matter in a Λ = 0, flat, initially matter dominated cosmology. We show that this model satisfies the cosmological constraint from Type Ia supernovae at high redshift. Possible additional observational tests of this new cosmological paradigm are suggested.

  • Despite the prediction of the Higgs boson at Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in the CERN in 2012 after it has been theorized for over 50 years, however, the Standard model (SM) still can not explain the mass of neutrinos; the hierarchy problem; the contribution of dark energy, dark matter and CP violation in cosmology.

  • We find that this model can only fit the observational constraints if there is a cosmological constant and the presence of non-decaying cold dark matter in addition to decaying cold dark matter. Thus, although this remains a viable model, it is only able to partially explain the observed cosmic acceleration.

  • Dark matter (DM) is a special matter kind. The total amount of dark matter should be around five times bigger than that of ordinary matter. Currently, there are many dark matter models, such as the Cold Dark Matter model with a cosmological constant (ΛCDM) [1] and the vector-fermion dark matter model.

  • Locally rotationally symmetric five dimensional string cosmological model with bulk viscous fluid in Lyra manifold is constructed. This model is obtained for time dependent displacement field, i.e. β = β(t) and constant bulk viscous coefficient. Some physical and geometrical properties of the model are discussed.

  • By expanding the calculations we investigated a four-nucleon model of the nucleus which takes into account the delta meson. The main results show that without the addition of Goguta-Bodmer, the expected compression value is still obtained, and the slope and curvature of the symmetrical energy are also consistent with the experiment.

  • In particular, we will show that the studied models really admit the Bianchi type I metrics, which are homogeneous but anisotropic space time, as their stable cosmological solutions. Hence, these models turn out to be counterexamples to the cosmic no-hair conjecture.

  • This paper discusses about Robertson-Walker space-time with quadratic equation of state and dynamical cosmological parameter Λ. Some exact solutions of Einstein’s field equations for three cases have been obtained. Physical behaviors of the models are discussed in detail.

  • The former leads to a ”microscopic” cosmological model with Hubble expansion. Due to interaction of a Higgs-like cosmological potential, the original time-space symmetry is spontaneously broken, inducing a strong time-like curvature and a weak space-like deviation curve. In the result, the wave-like solution leads to Klein-Gordon-Fock equation which would serve an explicit approach to the problem of consistency between quantum mechanics and general relativity.
