A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2015 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ganiwan, Chitrakoot district of Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh on silty loam soil to assess the effect of varieties and plant geometries on rain fed Pigeon pea crop. Treatments comprised of 3 levels each of variety (UPAS 120, Bahar 777, ICPL 88039) and planting geometries (Uniform 50 cm routs, paired row 40/60 cm, uniform 60 rows).

The precision farming including plasticulture applications has proven its worth in realizing more output per unit of inputs and resources bestowed on to land. As an alternative to raise production and productivity especially to compete global trade and meet out own requirements. Cabbage is grown extensively in summers in Ladakh region and is stored for winters. The present study carried out the importance of drip irrigation in sugarcane and vegetable cultivation in intercrop (onion) under the Randomized Block Design with 8 treatment and three replications. Under the study the Plot size 6m x 5 m and fertilizer doses as 250:100:150 kg NPK/ha for the sugarcane variety Co-86032. Treatment No. 6 (T6- 150 cm *120 cm) found best for number of tillers, Plant height (cm) and Nodal length (cm) 19.33, 3.88 cm and 15.00 cm respectively. Treatment 1 (T1- 120 cm *60 cm) found best for Girth (cm) i.e. 9.17 cm. Best yield found in Treatment 1 (160.

A field experiment was carried out in the CR Farm of Gayeshpur, BCKV, Nadia, West Bengal, India during rabi season of 2015-16 and 2016-17 to find out suitable hybrid variety and optimum spacing for different hybrids. Three hybrid varieties of mustard viz. Kesari 5111(V1), Kesari 5222(V2) and Kesari Gold(V3) were taken as treatments in the main plot, whereas, four spacing - 30cm × 10cm (S1), 30cm × 20cm (S2), 40cm × 20cm (S3) and 40cm × 30cm (S4) were imposed as subplot treatment.
