Luận án Tiến sĩ Hóa học "Nghiên cứu thành phần hóa học và hoạt tính chống ung thư của hai loài Xương quạt (Dianella ensifolia) và Côm hải nam (Elaeocarpus hainanensis)" trình bày các nội dung chính sau: Phân lập các hợp chất từ loài Xương quạt (Dianella ensifolia) và Côm hải nam (Elaeocarpus hainanensis) bằng các phương pháp sắc ký; Đánh giá hoạt tính gây độc tế bào ung thư (cytotoxicity) của các chất sạch phân lập được. Chất có hoạt tính tốt được nghiên cứu tác động chống ung thư ở mức độ phân tử.
