In the modern research, the assessment of effectiveness of introduction and application of technologies that minimize negative impact on the region ecology is carried out by boundaries dividing of ecological and industrial systems. In this research supply chain operation effects proposed to assess the impact of mechanisms for ensuring ecological safety based on integrational approach to determination of boundaries of ecological and industrial systems, and identification of ecological safety objects.

The present experiment conducted at dairy farm during year 2016-17 at C.S.A. University of agricultural and technology Kanpur. The growth rate of crossbred female calves is major problem at dairy farm. Twelve crossbred female calves were selected for digestibility that on nutrition Slid samples contains 86.5% DM. 20.1% CP, 2% EE, 15.5% CF, 52.7% NFE, and 9.5% ash.

Azolla is a free floating, rapidly growing aquatic fern on water surface. It has enormous potential as a livestock feed due to its high content of protein, essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. The scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, West Sikkim introduced azolla cultivation in the district by demonstration conducted at farmers’ field. The farmers were trend by on and off campus practical training cum demonstration on azolla production technology.

Any information communication tool like radio, television, mobile phone, computer, network, hard ware and software, satellite system etc., can be used for framing suitable methodologies for dissemination of innovations to the livestock farmers. No single medium of communication is the best and hence a combination of different medium referred as media mix strategies were suggested through the study for diffusion of various dairy innovations.

The study indicated that 46.67 per cent of the farmers belonged to old age group of above 45 years and were illiterate (36.70 %). Majority (51.70 %) of them had dairying and agriculture as their primary occupation and had more than 10 years of farming experience. Majority of the farmers had medium categories of cosmopoliteness and livestock possession (85.00 % and 68.33 %) respectively. The major constraints faced by the respondents were lack of awareness about latest technologies, scarcity of grazing land and water in dairy farming and lack of veterinary extension services at field level.

To sustain dairy farming as a rural livelihood and to meet the growing demand of milk, necessitates dissemination of technologies/innovations for improving the farm’s output. There is also a need to understand how far existing innovations are diffused to the farmers and factors influencing diffusion and/or rejection. Based on the highest cattle population and best rank in adoption of recommended dairy innovations three districts namely Visakhapatnam, Krishna and Chittoor were selected from each region of Andhra Pradesh respectively.

A participatory empowerment model was developed for dairy farmers on the basis of various identified factors in Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu, India. This farmer’s participation model consists of steps like, analyses of resource availability, feeding pattern appraisal and micro level approach with ICT integration. After assessing the availability of feed resources and feeding pattern in the study area, a software was developed to solve the feeding problems of dairy farmers at every farm and every animal level.

Six doses of zinc and sulphur viz. 0.0, 2.5, 5.0, 7.5, 10.0, 12.5 Kg ha-1 and 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 Kg ha-1 , respectively were applied as basal dose.

The management of dairy farming has been historically based on experience and the skills the farm operator has in planning and decisions made. In cases where the farm has large herds, a farming system must be in place, thereby bring an evolution in dairy management, which is datadriven. Precision technologies can bring about increased efficiency and decision making in dairy management. Total farmers that have already adopted the technology is still relatively low, although data shows a growth in the adoption rate.

This study was performed at Instructional dairy farm, Govind Ballabh Pant University of agriculture and technology during Kharif season, 2017 to evaluate and characterize 96 sorghum accessions for various morphological and fodder yield parameters. Highest Shannon index was recorded for races (1.47) followed by glume color (1.33), ear head compactness (1.176) and glume covering (1.117) revealed the greater variability for these qualitative traits. The results of this study indicate that significant genetic diversity exists among the sorghum accessions.

While the structure of the dairy processing industry has improved dramatically, milk collection and distribution is fragmented compared to systems found in other countries. There is a need to improve the supply chain from farmer to consumer in Pakistan. There is very limited data available on the routes to market or the distribution channels employed in Pakistan. Most of the milk produced in the farms is consumed at the household level.

It is said that farms having land to grow crops and forage (PK-3 and PK-10R) were relatively most competitive. The PK-10R farm is said to be most viable farm size, and has the potential of challenging competitors in export markets6. Such farms make effective use of technological advances in breeding practices, e.g., artificial insemination, to improve their herd quality. Some of them have also installed their own pasteurization or processing equipment. However, there are only 23% of farmers who fall in the PK-10R category, whereas 70% of the farmers have less than four animals.
