In this paper, solutions to apply the Kalman filter to handle ground vibration wave data due to blasting were introduced. The work is done based on considering the properties and factors affecting the amplitude, frequency, and characteristics of ground vibration waves.

Ready to serve thermal processed eel fish curry was developed using eel steaks (Mastacembalus armatus). The eel curry was packed in an indigenously developed four layered laminated retortable pouch consisting of 12 micron polyester / 9 micron aluminium foil / 5 micron nylon / 70 micron cast polypropylene of size 150x 200 mm and processed in a steam air retort at 121oC. The curry and eel steaks were packed in 60:40 proportion. Time-temperature data from sealed samples was collected during heat processing using a ‘Nano Vacq 1 Tc’ data logger to record the data during processing.

The curry and eel steaks were packed in 60:40 proportion. Time-temperature data from sealed samples was collected during heat processing using a ‘Nano Vacq 1 Tc’ data logger to record the data during processing. The product was processed for 2, 3 and 4 min at 121oC at the process value of 6.08, 13.89 and 5.03 min respectively.

After the two introductory presentations, participants receive hands-on training in how to operate (launch on a computer, troubleshoot, etc.) the UCB particle monitor, the HOBO CO logger and CO diffusion tubes. During a field trip to a nearby biomass-using home they place the instruments in the kitchen, record important sampling information on a sampling data form and collect basic information about the kitchen and household. A post- monitoring questionnaire characterizes important factors that can affect IAP levels.

PM measurement options include gravimetric monitors (pump and filter method) and light-scattering devices. The advantages and disadvantages of each of these methods are discussed, including cost, ease-of-use, accuracy, size detection and time-keeping. The choice of method depends on the context, i.e. the purpose of the project or programme, the capacity of staff and available financial and human resources.
