Dealuminated zeolites

YNU-5 (YFI type) is the first zeolite reported with interconnected 12-, 12-, and 8-ring pores showing a remarkable catalytic potential towards the dimethyl ether (DME)-to-olefin reaction. In this work, the structures of the as-synthesized, calcined and dealuminated YNU-5 zeolites, were investigated by various techniques with special emphasis on advanced electron microscopy methods.

Systematic investigation was performed to understand the change of physiochemical properties in Y zeolite after the microwave (MW)-assisted dealumination (using mineral acid, HCl, and chelating agent, EDTA4−) and the subsequent alkaline treatment (of the dealuminated zeolites).

Trong nghiên cứu này, tác giả tiến hành deAl của mẫu H-mordenit Si/Al = 5, ở các điều kiện nhiệt độ khác nhau (từ 4000C đến 7000 C), áp suất hơi nước như nhau. Với các mẫu thu được sau deAl, Al ngoài mạng được rửa (tách khỏi bề mặt zeolite) bằng axit HCl. Các xúc tác Pt/HMD được điều chề bằng cách tẩm Pt (0,5%) lên các mẫu mordenit deAl (HMD).
