Evidence from Thailand" aims to investigate the impact of ecological factors; GDP growth rate (GGR), degree of openness (DOO), exchange rate (EXR) and balance of payment (BOP) on foreign direct investment (FDI). Study also examines the effect of FDI on the performance of nationwide supply chain (NSCP). Moreover, study examines mediating role of FDI on the relationship between GGR, DOO, EXR and BOP.

This study has an effort to explore the dynamic relationship among income, exchange rate, foreign direct investment, effective supply chain practices and export performance. Based on quarterly data from Q2/2009 to Q4/2019, constituting 43 observations. To attain dynamic and unvarying relationship among these variables, applying Vector Autoregressive Model, results indicate that, in short run, each variable is highly influenced by changes of value and past value of its and the other variables at different degree.

The objective of this study is to investigate the role of macroeconomic factors in the supply chain. “Therefore, this study examined the role of GDP growth rate, the degree of openess, the rate of exchange and balance of payment effect on foreign direct investment (FDI) and FDI effect on the supply chain. In this study, data were collected from Indonesian economists. Email addresses of Indonesian economists were collected and email was sent to them to get responses. Only one hundred email addresses were found of various economists.

The research "A Robust Approach to Stereoscopic 3-D Video Watermarking Using Adaptive Hysteresis Noise Gate" aims to introduce an alternative approach to watermarking stereoscopic threedimensional (S3-D) video using a dual-tree complex wavelet transform (DT-CWT) with an adaptive hysteresis noise gate or NG-DCWT for short. We present a novel approach, the Local Edge Machine, for the inference of regulatory interactions directly from time-series gene expression data. We demonstrate its performance, robustness, and scalability on in silico datasets with varying behaviors, sizes, and degrees of complexity. Moreover, we demonstrate its ability to incorporate biological prior information and make informative predictions on a well-characterized in vivo system using data from budding yeast that have been synchronized in the cell cycle.

The paper presents a series of modified direct shear tests to investigate the interface shear strength between clay and nonwoven geotextile under different normal stresses and degrees of saturation. The modified direct shear apparatus consists of a 60 mm × 60 mm square shear box assembly with a 60 mm × 60 mm acrylic block inserted in the bottom shear box. A woven geotextile layer was glued to the top of the acrylic block, while the top shear box was filled by the compacted clayey soil.

This paper proposes a computational model of topic trust being constructed from users similarity and levels of their interaction. It is defined as function of similarity degrees in interests and levels of interaction in topics among users. Based on this model, we may estimate trustworthy values among peers in all cases with some direct and indirect interaction or without any interaction. The proposed approach may overcome limitation in the high computational cost of propagation methods based on graph models.

The purpose of this work is to present a model of trust computation being defined by means of the context of user’s interests and degrees of direct interaction among peers. A dynamic structure of social network based on a hierarchy of peers into k-layer neighbors w.r.t. a given source peer is investigated. We introduce a similarity measure being constructed from the space of vectors of users’ interests. Up on the location of a target peer w.r.t. the hierarchy, we propose methods of estimating trust values via propagation as well as the similarity.
