The synthesis of the UiO-66/rGO material involved combining UiO-66 with reduced graphene oxide (rGO). This resulting composite found application in the electrochemical determination of salbutamol (SAL) through modification of a glassy-carbon electrode (GCE) with UiO-66/rGO. The application of pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) close to the dorsal root ganglia, or peripheral nerves, has been demonstrated to be effective for the treatment of chronic neuropathic pain conditions. Weeds are considered as a source of new viruses and reservoirs of unidentified economically important viruses but are often neglected during diversity studies. Here, the weeds which are highly susceptible for the virus infection found in the Pulse Research block of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore is documented. Many scientific reports have demonstrated that weeds serve as reservoir or alternative hosts for begomovirus survival and spread in the absence of the main crops. Now some new weeds are also added to the list in transmitting virus and host for vector.

Millet has emerged as one of the most suitable alternative to minor millet and minor pulses in Bastar plateau zone of Bastar district at Chhattisgarh. However, the productivity of small millet in the Bastar plateau zone is very low. One of the major constraints of traditional millet farming is low productivity due to lack of recommended package of practices and high yielding varieties. To replace this inconsistency of practices, SG College of Agriculture and Research under AICRPSM, Jagdalpur conducted experiments in the farmer’s field.

A comparative study to evaluate the effect of different time of sowing on productivity and economics of summer mungbean (Vigna radiata L.) production was undertaken under ‘Cluster Frontline Demonstrations on Pulses’ of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. The demonstrations were carried out in 72 different locations at farmers’ fields in district Tarn Taran of Punjab. Summer mungbean variety SML 668 was supplied to all the farmers.

Soybean (Glysin max L.) is one of the most important oil seed cum pulse crop cultivated in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh. The production and productivity of soybean in the district is found to be low, therefore constant attempts are being made to improve the productivity and to increase the area under soybean by adopting high yielding variety along with improved cultivation practices.

Pulses play an important role in the food and farming economy of our country. Considering their limited input requirements, soil enriching properties and suitability for growing in areas where moisture (water) is limited, pulses occupy a unique place in our agriculture system.

Green gram (Mungbean) is an important pulse crop of India next to tur and blackgram. It plays an important role in enhancing the income of small and marginal farmers of Southern Karnataka. The production of greengram in district is very less as compared to state and national average. However, the domestic requirements are also higher, due to this greengram is being imported. The present study was carried out to evaluate the performance of improved cultivars with scientific package of practices on production, productivity and profitability of pulses. Cluster frontline demonstrations (CFLDs) were conducted during 2016-17 and 2017-18 in total of 170 demonstrations with evaluation of the performance of TBG 104, variety of blackgram in Orvakallu and Gonegandla blocks, Red gram variety PRG-176 in Mecadona block and Chick pea Variety NBeG-3 in Ramapuram block of the district and record the feedback information of farmers.

In this paper, we report a numerical study of the supercoin (SC) generation in solid-core photonic crystal fibers infiltrated with water-ethanol mixtures. A photonic crystal fiber is constructed as borosilicate glass NC21, which consists of 7 rings of air holes infiltrated with water-ethanol mixtures. Front Line demonstrations (FLDs) are the important extension techniques to convince the farmers about latest farm technologies. The present study was conducted to assess the impact of frontline demonstrations Bengal gram crops conducted in the Central Plateau Region of Maharashtra and the Malwa plateau of Madhya Pradesh. Study revealed that improved cultivation practices comprised under FLDs viz., recommended varieties, seed rate, timely sowing and plant protection technology resulted in increase in yield in gram crop over the check plots.

The present study was conducted by KVK, Jagatsinghpur during 2016-17 in the rabi seasons with sixty numbers frontline demonstrations across in two clusters of Bagoi village in kujanga block of district Jagatsinghpur. The results of demonstrations showed that farmers could increase the Green gram productivity by adopting improved variety and improved production technology. From the front line demonstrations, it was observed that the improved Green gram variety IPM-02-14recorded the higher yield (748kg/ha) compared to the farmers' practices variety (553 kg/ha).

Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Cuddalore District intervened with demonstrations on pulses with cluster approach to increase the production of pulses in Cuddalore district under NFSM-pulse production scheme. Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is commonly known as gram which is one of the important pulse crops of the State. Front line demonstrations were conducted at 100 farmer's field in 40 hectares of 11 villages. To demonstrate production potential and economic benefits of improved technologies comprised viz., improve varieties (JAKI 9218 and JG 14) with seed rate of 75 kg/ha, line sowing with spacing of 30 cm (R-R) and 10 cm (P-P), seed treatment with bavistin 2 g/kg seed, balance dose of fertilizer, weed management and plant protection measures.
