This research has been undertaken by theoretical and practical investigation via a critique of the historical and contemporary topics surrounding women’s apparel size definitions. This analysis has informed the development of an alternative size model to assist design and production of mass market apparel. There is expectation from both apparel manufacturers and consumers that apparel standards are necessary for the efficient production and distribution of mass market apparel.

The purpose of this project is to enable the prediction of flow behaviour of concentrated slurries in the pipe loop under various laminar flow conditions using the fluid analogue to slurry and to find the suitable rheological model from the literature for the fluid analogue and tailings from the Sunrise dam. The major objective of the project is to develop a fluid analogue which will have similar rheological behaviour to that of the tailings from Sunrise dam so that it can be used as a test material to predict the flow behaviour of tailings in a pipe.

The project's main objectives were to analyse the data obtained during geological exploration and use it to model and predict biological patterns in order to answer the main research questions: 1) Is there a statistical relationship between the environmental parameters and the benthic community composition and morphospecies observed? 2) Can predictive models be developed from this relationship? In achieving these main objectives, the project also developed recommendations for methods that could be applied during geological exploration voyages to maximise the potential use of data collected.

The research "The development of a work-life fit model: A demands and resources approach" sought to (i) identify the demands and resources relevant to workers of the Australian construction industry; (ii) identify the demand-resource profiles on different worker groups within a diverse construction workforce; (iii) investigate whether individual attributes influence demand-resource profiles; and (iv) evaluate whether Q Methodology was a suitable methodology with which to explore the work-life experience of workers of the construction industry.
