For comparing the efficacy of serum gonadotropin @50 and 100IU/ml, estrodiol17β @0.5 and 1μg/ml, EBS @5 and 10% and BFF @5 and 10% supplementation on in vitro nuclear maturation rate of buffalo oocytes. Ovaries were collected from buffaloes slaughtered at local abattoir. Oocytes were aspirated and good and excellent quality oocytes were matured in basic maturation media TCM199 supplementing above mentioned supplements separately.

Microbiological quality of goat carcasses at different stages of slaughter in Dallam island abattoir

A study was carried out to evaluate the microbial quality of goat carcasses at Dallma island slaughterhouse in Alzafraa District, UAE, during June 2017. A total of 284 swab samples were collected from 40 carcasses for identification of the isolates and bacterial total viable counts (TVCs).
