Traditional medicine used the fruits of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss to treat male hypogonadism and male infertility. This study was carried out to investigate the potential androgenic properties of the alcoholic extract of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss fruits (CFE) in peripubertal castrated male rats.

This paper presents, we present the structure, magnetic properties, and magnetocaloric effect of the Fe81-xCrx+4B2Zr10Nd3 (x = 0, 1, 2, and 3) alloy ribbons. The alloy ribbons were prepared by using the meltspinning method. Structural analysis by X-ray diffraction shows that the obtained alloy ribbons are almost amorphous.

This study evaluates the effect of admixtures on the properties of mortar used in 3D printing with a nozzle diameter of 5mm. The plasticizing additive Sika Plastiment 96 and the shrinkage-reducing admixture Sika Intraplast Z-HV, at varying dosages, were employed to design 20 mortar mix trials.

This paper was performed to evaluate the photothermal effect of pure gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) prepared by electrochemical method at different voltages, under laser irradiation in the safe wavelength range. Steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) is a multiple-composite material developed during the early 1970s. In SFRC, short steel fibers are randomly distributed in concrete. Steel fibers can prevent the development of micro-cracks inside the concrete and reduce the expansion and development of the macro-cracks, thus enhance mechanical performance of SFRC. However, there is lack of studies on the influence of flowability of fresh SFRC on the steel fiber distribution patterns and mechanical properties of hardened SFRC.
