Impact of annealing temperatures on surface morphology and optical properties of reactive sputter deposited NiO films

This study involved the deposition of NiO thin films onto Al2O3/glass substrates using RFmagnetron reactive sputtering. Then, the influence of heating temperatures on crystal structure, surface morphology, transmittance, and optical band gap of NiO films was investigated via different characterization techniques.
