An experiment was carried out to study the interaction of root knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita, Paecilomyces lilacinus, Pochonia chlamydosporia, Trichoderma viride, Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas fluorescence on the growth of black gram. This study was done to investigate the role of some bacterial genera as biocontrol agent against Meloidogyne incognita. Bioefficacy of newer and biorational insecticides against shoot and fruit borer, Earias spp. on Okra
An experiment was conducted on bioefficacy of newer and biorational insecticides against shoot and fruit borer on okra. Efficacy of insecticides tested against Earias spp on okra indicated that the minimum per cent infestation of shoot and fruit borer was found in the treatment of indoxacarb (1.36%) followed by spinosad (1.75%), emamectin benzoate (2.57%) and fipronil (2.98%). The acetamiprid, acephate, dimethoate/ malathion and NSKE registered 3.25, 4.23, 4.81 and 5.28 per cent infestation of shoot and fruit borer and existed in moderate group of efficacy. An experiment was conducted on Bioefficacy of Chlorantraniliprole 35% WG against early shoot borer and internode borer of Sugarcane at Agricultural Research Station, Bidar, University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur during 2014-15 and 2015-16. Cucumber vascular wilt pathogen, Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum is one of the most destructive organisms that hampers the cucumber production under protected cultivation and results in huge economic loss to farmers. Trichoderma spp., a potent biocontrol agent screened against F. oxysporum f. sp. cucumerinum in vitro resulted that T. virens TRI 37 effectively inhibited the mycelial growth of pathogen to about 68.0% compared to other isolates. Streptomyces spp. ANSP4 and ANSCa22 isolated earlier from rhizospheric soil of Akola district of Maharashtra were studied for their biocontrol potential against Rhizoctonia bataticola isolates from the same region. Both Streptomyces strains ANSP4 and ANSCa22 revealed growth inhibition of Rhizoctonia bataticola isolates R1 and R2 by dual culture method. Efficacy of independent applications of these strains on seedlings vigor index (SVI) of R1 inoculated Soybean seeds were tested by paper towel method. R1 inoculation of healthy soybean seeds resulted in drastic reduction in SVI from 1515.

A field experiment was conducted during Kharif 2015-16 in central research farm of Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Allahabad to evaluate the field efficacy of certain chemicals against shoot and fruit borer on Brinjal.
