Eggs attached

A 10 year old female Persian cat was presented to a private pet clinic in Puducherry with a complaint of itching. Upon examination of hair samples under microscope, revealed the presence of eggs attached to hair and cat fur mite Lynxacarus radovskyi clinging onto the hairs. Fipronil spot on was used to treat successfully.

The complex structure of the advertisement call markedly distinguishes C. doriae from other members of the genus Chiromantis. We give the spacing of calling males, presence of multiple males near breeding sites. C. doriae mated only at night but males began calling immediately after dusk. The amplectant pair frequently moved around the branch for approximately 10-15 minutes. The female attended to the eggs that were attached to the branch.

The experiment was conducted to investigate the embryonic development of discus (Symphysodon aequifasiatus) and determine the time required for major egg developmental stages and hatching. Regular observations were made using optical microscope and the images were recorded using a digital camera attached to the microscope. Important water quality parameters were kept optimal for the hatching of discus eggs.

We report induction of spontaneous spawning in Mystus cavasius in glass aquaria provided with water hyacinth for egg attachment. The brooders (20 to 25g) were injected intramuscularly with Ovatide™ at the rate of 0.2 millilitre/Kilogram body weight and introduced into the spawning tanks in the evening. Maximum spawning response was obtained when two pairs of brooders were housed in one tank.

Trichoderma harzianum parasitism on Meloidogyne incognita eggs and juveniles was examined in-vitro under Assam condition. M. incognita egg masses, their derived eggs and second-stage juveniles (J2) were parasitized by T. harzianum. The conidia of the T. harzianum were found inside of the eggs and attached to the J2s with the gelatinous matrix. The eggs were penetrated and parasitized by the hyphae of T. harzianum, while eggs containing juveniles were also parasitised by T. harzianum. Further, isolate T. harzainum was used for to know the bio-efficacy against M.

Sperm cells are highly specialized cells that are able to move. Each sperm cell must be able to deliver a haploid set of chromosomes from the male to an egg cell in the female reproductive tract. The structure of a mature sperm cell is well adapted to its function. Almost the entire head of the sperm is the haploid nucleus, the all-important genetic information that is delivered to the egg. Fertility drugs can be oral or injectible. The most common fertility drug used is clomiphene citrate (brand name Clomid or Serophene), which is taken orally to help women who are not ovulating or who ovulate irregularly to produce one or more mature eggs. Injectibles are called gonadotropins and stimulate the ovary to produce more follicles in one cycle. Clomiphene citrate and gonadotropins can be used on their own with intercourse, or combined with AI or IVF.
