Exposure to cold causes cutaneous vasoconstriction to reduce body heat loss, while the airway warms up the inspired cold air, thus suggesting that cooling might evoke a response in tracheal smooth muscle different from that in cutaneous blood vessels. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of temperature on isolated rat trachea, with or without electric field stimulation (EFS).

Magnetotelluric surveys (soundings) are a naturalsource electromagnetic (EM) geophysical method that utilizes variations in the Earth’s magnetic field to image subsurface structures. A magnetotelluric sounding was attempted at Weyburn but has not produced results. Consequently, a final assessment of its utility is not available (Monea et al., 2008). Electrical resistance tomography (ERT) is a technique of imaging subsurface electrical conductivity. When deployed in time-lapse mode, it is capable of detecting conductivity changes caused by the injection of CO2.

They mentioned Kirlian photography as one of the tools utilized in attempting to understand ESP (referred to as "biological information" in the U.S.S.R.) and PK (referred to by the Soviets as "biological energy").
