In this work, the rGO/polyacrylic acid (rGO/PAA) composite film was synthesized using the 3D direct ink writing technique with GO/acrylic acid (GO/AA) ink and UV irradiation. Results show that after a UV irradiation time of 3.6 seconds, GO was reduced into rGO, and AA was polymerized into PAA.

This work aims to investigate the mechanism of Pd nucleation and growth onto glassy carbon electrode from ChCl/urea/palladium mixture at room temperature using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chronoamperometry (CA) techniques. Furthermore, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were used to examine the crystalline structure, morphology and compositions of deposited Pd samples.

A facial strategy for the synthesis of hierarchical binary core-branch carbon microspheres (CMS)@α-Fe2O3 is presented. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution TEM (HR-TEM), and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) were used to characterize the structural and morphological properties of the products.

In this work, Al-doped ZnO and Fe-doped ZnO nanoparticles have been synthesized through the coprecipitationannealing method to create new and safer UV filters for sunscreen. The effects of metal doping on phase composition, crystal structure, surface morphology, specific surface area, and elemental composition were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, field emission electron scanning microscopy, nitrogen adsorption-desorption experiments and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, respectively.

CuO nanoparticles were synthesized by alcohol-assisted hydrothermal method at various pH values, using sodium hydroxide as a precursor for pH control. In this study, we synthesized CuCoFe-LDH bilayer hydroxide catalysts in different Cu:Co:Fe ratios (1:1:1; 1:2:1, and 1:3:2) by hydrothermal method and applied them to activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) for decomposing levofloxacin. The obtained LDH samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.
