In this study, we investigated some conditions affecting the extraction of total carotenoids from R. mucilaginosa using environmentally friendly chemicals: cell disruption conditions with organic acids combined with ultrasound-assistant method, using ethanol and petroleum ether solvents to replace acetone in the process of extracting total carotenoids to obtain a benign product, easy to apply in food.

The main contribution of this work was the synthesis of MNs in an economical and environmental friendly way, achieving size-controlled MNs at mild conditions. A possible mechanism of MNs synthesis was also presented.

Forest fires present a significant threat to the tropical forest ecosystem in the northwestern region of Vietnam. Our study aimed to assess the impacts of environmental factors on forest fire occurrence and to map forest fire probability for the whole region. The forest fire occurrence data over the period 2003–2016, environmental factors (climate, fuel condition, topography, and human activity), and the MaxEnt approach were used for this study.

In this thesis, focus on the wireless links between devices equipped by deployed operating personnel and intermediary access point infrastructure. We use multi-radio (MR) platforms, wireless devices with multiple and diverse transceiver technologies, to produce robust and reliable links through adaptive control of available transceivers. Primarily, we study the application of intelligent control techniques, namely reinforcement learning (RL), for adaptive control over diverse transceivers to achieve the desired robustness and reliability under dynamic environmental conditions.

The objective of the project was to portray memories of the Millennium Drought period through the development of artworks and this was initially undertaken with a photoshoot in January 2014. We report on an environmentally friendly and versatile chemical solution deposition route to K0.5Na0.5NbO3 (KNN) thin films. The excess amounts of K and Na in KNN precursor solutions was found to be strong influence on perovskite KNN single-phase thin films. It was revealed from Raman spectroscopic analysis data that a change in scattering mode was observed for the KNN thin films fabricated under various processing conditions.

An investigation was carried out during the year 2017 to study the post-harvest life of gladiolus spikes by using different packaging materials (blotting paper, brown paper, butter paper, cellophane paper and news paper) in various environmental condition (16ºC and 22 ± 2ºC).
