In this study, we investigated some conditions affecting the extraction of total carotenoids from R. mucilaginosa using environmentally friendly chemicals: cell disruption conditions with organic acids combined with ultrasound-assistant method, using ethanol and petroleum ether solvents to replace acetone in the process of extracting total carotenoids to obtain a benign product, easy to apply in food.

Manufactured dyes are notably troublesome chemical toxins. The industrial wastes of these dyes are exceedingly noxious to aerobic and aquatic life and can cause compounds that show carcinogenic, mutagenic, and neurotoxic effects. The adsorption of Pb2+ ions in solution by synthetic hydroxyapatite material was researched. The effects of adsorption time, adsorbent mass, solution pH, and Pb2+ ion concentration on adsorption properties were investigated. The Pb2+ adsorption efficiency of material can reach 98.7%. Two adsorption isotherm models, Freunlich and Langmuir, were used to evaluate adsorption isotherms.

In this study, we investigate using acrylic and acrylic-styrene emulsions as curing solution to enhance water resistance and prevent cracking in cement concrete surfaces. Our main objective is to investigate the possibilities of utilizing washing waste generated during the Rhomn & Haas factory - Dow Chemical Vietnam production process. This research article investigates the long-run and short-run elasticities between economic growth, trade openness, and carbon dioxide emission by utilizing the auto-regressive distributed lag (ARDL) bound test technique for Vietnam from 2000 to 2021. The result indicated that in the short run, there does not exist an inverted U-shaped relationship between economic growth and carbon dioxide emission but in the long run, economic growth affects carbon dioxide emissions in the form of a reverse U shape.

Bayesian kernel machine regression (BKMR) analysis was used to evaluate the univariate contaminant exposure effect as well as the contaminant mixture effects on levels of thyroid hormones. Significant and positive associations were found between total T3 and PC-2 (high positive nickel and cadmium loadings), total T3 and PC-3 (negative association with negative loading for nickel and positive loading for cadmium) and TSH and PC-1 (high positive loadings for organic contaminants).
